This script will convert SVG line art to KiCad Footprints or KiCad PCB shapes.
- File must be saved as SVG in millimeter (mm) units and contain no arcs, curves, beziers, text, discontiguous or compound paths.
- For best results, load your SVG in Inkscape 0.91, set Units to mm under Document Properties, then select the entire document and choose Path -> Object to Path. Save the file as an Inkscape or Plain SVG, then upload it to this script.
